Photos with this feature are already go photos which proves that things have existed, telling us useful information in a very refined and perfect form. In the book, “Studium” & “Punctum” are two Latin words that Barthes talks about– Studium: The focus of the photo, the interest in a certain thing or person, from a cultural point of view to appreciate these images (people, things, scenery). ![]() He regards himself as a photography lover rather than a photographer. ![]() From the perspective of the viewer, Barthes shared many of his personal experiences, his really interesting definitions about the important elements of photography, and also the shock and sorrow of the lost of his mother. Barthes writes, “A photograph is always invisible: it is not it that we see”. In Camera Lucida, Roland Barthes presents a very personal and complex perspective of photography. ![]()
